We have a small market garden business and sell some starts during the spring at a farmer's market. I have started using this along with azomite in the peat starter soil we use for our Spring starts. Our plants really seem to love this combination and grow nice and full now. To give an idea of how much I use, I filled a typical 55gal trash can half way with the peat, then add maybe a quart of the worm castings and half cup to cup of azomite. We had replanted our tomatoes when they were about three or four inches tall. Literally, in a week after doing this replanting with these amendments, the tomato plants doubled in size and leaves took off like crazy. I'm pretty sure Audrey 2 now resides in my greenhouse (for those that get the reference)! I'm sure the warmer weather helped a bit, but I've been pleasantly surprised at how well the plants have done after the replantings with the castings.
The castings themselves appear to be fairly pure, meaning there was not a bunch of contaminants such as sticks or other products used to feed the worms. They are very dark and seem to be quite rich. This is the first time I've used worm castings so don't have much to compare to, but I can tell you my plants have been VERY happy and they have been complimented for their "healthy" appearance at the market. Will definitely be re-purchasing this product.

Never thought I would say this but I am a huge fan of earthworm poop!! Specifically this brand of earthworm poop. I have been growing veggies in containers for a few years now and only once did I venture to garden without this product. It was like my plants lost confidence in themselves and in me. I quickly corrected the sorry state of affairs with a generous top dressing of the castings and plants perked right up. Although it can get quite expensive, a little really goes a long way and the benefits far outweigh the cost in my opinion. I always added this to the planting hole while planting my seedlings but since last growing season I have also started top dressing once every 6 weeks. This is akin to a vitamin boost for my plants. This doesn't necessarily feed my plants (N value of only 1) as much as it fortifies them. My indoor and outdoor plants are more vigorous and also somewhat pest resistant (small insects-aphids, spider mites etc) when grown with the castings than without them. I love that the product does not smell bad (actually smells like wet earth which I love), is somewhat granular so that it doesn't compact in the bag and you can add little or as much of it without harming the plants. The additional benefit of organically improving the soil quality as I cultivate plants is a huge plus for me. The unused product stores well for about a year without any infestation or mold (never needed to store past a year).

This is worth gold. It's so good in my starter mix it "ruined" my garden last year! I planted my tomatoes and peppers on the same schedule as always, but the plants grew so fast, they were too big too early! I had to move them into 3 gallon pots before it was warm enough because they grew to 2 feet tall. Moving 50 tomatoes in 3 gallon pots is no easy task each day (sun outside, but house is too dark). I ended up planting them in the ground too early and got caught with late spring frost. This year I'm planting my tomatoes and peppers about 6 weeks later than with any commercial starter mix thanks to this wonderful earth worm product. This saves me on growing lights and having plants too big too early. I mix these worm castings with vermiculite and peat moss in the same proportions, add a bit of sea weed, lime, and 13-13-13 fertilizer. Same stuff without worm castings wasn't nearly as good.

Update: it’s the beginning of may and we already have about 30 tomatoes between our 3 plants. We’ve never had so many so early before. Roses are blooming like mad what a huge difference this has made. We actually look like we have green thumbs. If you’re wondering it works miracles in a garden so buy it.
Just planted some flowers and tomatoes using this stuff by the root balls so far so good but won’t know anything until this summer. If it works better then previous years might try a whole garden next year. Haven’t had too much success in gardening here in Texas, thought we had green thumbs in California but nothing could prepare us for the barren lands of Texas. We are trying pots this time with some of the worm casings and seaweed stuff let’s hope it works. Truly miss our lush gardens in California here’s hoping Texas will spring life.

First, I bought the biggest bag available because the price was so much better. I use this to mix with coir to make my own potting mix. I use soil blocks and WW with the coir and the right amount of water makes for a block that holds up well. I don't use peat (sustainability issues) nor vermiculite; the castings hold moisture well enough and I only water once a day. The mix was free of sticks and stones and gnats and whatever else other products tend to come with. I mix a giant vat of this stuff at the start of the season and whatever I don't use right away will keep with no problems until the next round of seed starts. I'm happy with this product and as long as they keep producing the way they do, I'll keep buying it the way I do.

I love this stuff!! I first purchased a bag of this last year when my plants were kind of looking saggy. I put it all around the garden it make all my veggy plants perk up! So this year I purchased another bag and am putting it proactively on my plants! I'm so excited!
I am so impressed with the cost! 30lbs for $30 you can't beat that anywhere! (I live in a small town in the White Mts of Arizona so we are limited in choices and things here are super expensive)! The smell is a surprisingly nice, earthy smell. The consistency is kind of like used coffee grounds. I don't know what other customers are saying about sand in it. Neither of the bags I've received contain sand. I just love it! I'm a customer for life!

I have been using this product for two summers to fertilize my perennials. My rose bushes are spectacular with this product! I place it on the soil around the perimeter of the root system of each plant, cover it with a light layer of mulch and water thoroughly. After that, it is normal care{ deadheading and watering if we haven't had rain. I do this again in the fall so the roots can be fed through fall and early spring. The rose bushes themselves are bigger and stronger and there are two to three times the number of blossoms as in previous years. I also use about 1/4 cup when planting new flowers.

Bag had a lot of clumps but the contents is rich dark black and odorless. It’s better than I’ve experienced I’m sure. Had bad luck with some cloning and used this but think it’s my lack of knowledge of cloning.
Added as a top layer to save a peace Lilly and it’s slowly coming back so maybe it is ok.
Clumpy and not finely broken up but looks legit.

I am using this is my terrariums. I have a room full or terrariums, so I take growing substrates seriously I am using these worms castings as 5-10 percent, by volume, of my typical substrate mix. I have definitely seen some vigorous growth since I began using this product. So, I think this product is a good addition to my mix. I grow species Begonias, by the way.

As an experiment, I used about 2/3-3/4 of a bag in my 4x6x2 foot raised bed and I have never had such an abundance of huge, thriving plants!!!! Garden gold, it truly is. I bought another bag for my second bed of the same size. The summer garden is incredible and I am so excited to see how my fall/winter garden will do with it!
